Job Position Description:
This position provides emergency disaster restoration and general cleaning for residential/commercial properties. Employee will be required to follow all assigned work orders and company policies/procedures.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Understands and executes work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Must be self-driven, detail oriented and have organizational and problem solving skills
- Maintains strict attention to detail when working at customer’s property
- Must have a high-level of integrity and customer service skills
- Perform disaster cleaning and demolition following the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) standards
- Maintains clean, organized work areas. Will be responsible for storing materials, equipment/inventory as well as keeping company vehicles clean and organized
- Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents, ensuring all items are properly documented and brought back to the warehouse for cleaning and restoration.
- Participate in our 24-hour on-call rotation, responding to emergency losses after-hours, including weekends
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Completes any reports or logs
- Completes both on-the-job training and ServiceMaster certification via ServiceMaster and industry standard courses
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Experience with water/fire/smoke damage, mold remediation/repair, and/or other emergency/disaster recovery and repair is highly preferred
- Safety and customer service oriented
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Willing to participate in on-call rotation, other after-hours/weekend work as needed
- Willing to participate in all training as needed/required
- High attention to detail

- Demonstrates a positive attitude
Physical Demands and Qualifications:
- Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, reaching forward. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 55lbs.
- Ability to read cleaning instructions
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
This is a hourly non-exempt position. Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, satisfactory background check and DMV Record.
