Civil Engineer
The County of Augusta is accepting applications for a Civil Engineer in the Department of Community Development.
A partial listing of the duties and responsibilities of the position are as follows: Serve as the Virginia Stormwater Management Program Administrator; enforce County Ordinances; act as project manager on County stormwater maintenance projects; review proposed construction plans for compliance with County Ordinances, State laws and regulations; maintain records and files and prepare reports.
This position requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, EIT designation and a PE license are preferred.
The County offers an excellent fringe benefits package including retirement, group life and health insurance, and PTO leave program. Hiring range is $60,390 - $66,429 depending upon qualifications.
