Job description
ATL International is seeking Civil Engineers for a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) project in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. Contact Michelle Whitt (Technical Recruiter) at 865-296-1959 with any questions.
Duties May Include:
- Performing structural evaluations of existing steel structures
- Developing procedures and specifications
- Developing construction cost estimates
- Performing work planning for demolition and reconfigurations of existing facilities
- Analyzing structures for acceptable loading limits and evaluate if modifications are required to support future design plans
- Locating, marking, and documenting underground utility lines
- Field work to find various utilities efficiently
- Working in parallel with a utility locating company that will be performing the positive identification portion of the work
Required:
- DOE clearance
- Professional Engineer licensed in PA
- Experience performing evaluations and analyses of steel structures required
- Experience creating engineering drawings required
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficient in the the comprehension of facility mechanical systems
- Working production software skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD
- Ability to maintain and update current as-built drawing database
- Strong research and communication skills
- Work collaboratively with project teams
- Work in compliance with company policies and procedures
Preferred:
- Formal cost estimating training or other cost estimating experience
- Experience with cost estimating software packages
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,209.00 - $78,588.00 per year
