Part-time instructor (up to 10 hours per week) for youth moviemaking and visual arts classes, camps, and special events. Will train on the curriculum so no previous teaching experience required; video editing experience a must.

Job details:
Will assist a group of 6-10 children per class ages 7+ to create original stories, direct, operate camera and sound, and edit their own work. Education and film majors a plus.

Classes typically taught during the day (10am - 3pm) and afterschool (3-8pm) in northwest Houston region (Heights, Spring Branch, Oak Forest, Memorial, Katy, Cypress); locations and times vary each day so need reliable transportation to be able to arrive early, set up equipment, teach class, and break down after class.

When not teaching, will assist with video editing and social media activities to increase brand awareness and drive customer engagement.

Requirements:
Since candidate will be working closely with children, must pass a background check and drug test.
