Second Wave Delivery Systems, LLC (SWDS) is determined to improve clinical outcomes in the United States while addressing the rising costs of healthcare. We provide risk adjustment and quality programs utilizing a technology-enabled, integrated system tailored to optimize value-based arrangements for payors and providers serving Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial ACA enrollees. Through an increased focus on primary and preventive care and accurate, complete, and compliant medical record documentation (“the true clinical picture”), we strive to provide patients with significantly better outcomes in each community we serve.


The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible making corporate decisions, managing the overall business operations and resources of the company, acting as the main point of communication between the board of directors and company operations (including finance, human resources, sales/marketing, client management/success, legal, compliance, technology, data and reporting and the core service operations of the business). The CEO serves as the public face of the company and is responsible for expanding the company and driving profitability. The CEO will develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.


Responsibilities


  • Develop high quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives
  • Lead and motivate executives to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing management team
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Ensure delivery of company’s value proposition to clients
  • Actively support sales and client retention, to drive company growth and success
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics
  • Ensures the companies compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Present regular reports on the status of the company’s operations to the board of directors and to company staff.
  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholder

Location

  • Remote with travel to client locations or company offices as needed.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience as CEO
  • Proven experience and expertise in risk adjustment for Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial ACA
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • MSc/MA in business administration or equivalent experience


Required Relevant Experience

  • Experience and expertise in delivering Risk Adjustment programs to clients in the United States
  • Experience and expertise in HEDIS/Quality and Star Ratings
  • Experience in delivering to payors and provider organizations
  • Knowledge of the CMS and OIG regulatory environment
  • Skill in managing AHIMA and AAPC medical record review staff
  • Ability to travel and interact directly with clients and prospective clients
  • Knowledge of data and reporting tools/infrastructure
  • IPA management and knowledge
