Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Fluid Power Engineering, the Hydraulic Project Manager has the responsibility to plan, track and manage one or more projects/tasks in terms of deliverables, timing and financial aspects supporting the product engineering team and coordinating with the stakeholders.
He support local as well international and intercompany business dealing with development and product launch of flow control, compact hydraulic, powerpack, pumps and hydraulic motors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage projects involving hydraulic products and systems
  • Ensure the projects are launched on-time and meet deliverables
  • Faciltate and follow engineering process requirements, create and maintain required documentations
  • Manage issue and change tracking and coordinate with all stakeholders
  • Coordinate and present periodically project status updates
  • Apply multiple engineering project management methods and skills to tailor the execution of projects of varying scopes and implementation plans
  • Estimate and manages R&D budgets related to specific projects development or tasks
  • Support in preparing invoices versus the activities done and agreed with customers
  • Support the preparation of the prototypes connected to their projects
  • Support the resolution of claims from the field and internal using the 8D method.
  • Identify and propose solutions to solve problems.
  • Prepare technical reports pertaining to the assigned project, identify and help manage risks and opportunities for the project.

Jon Position Requirements

Education: University Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or MEchatronics Engineering

Professional backgroung:

  • 5 – 10 years experiences in similar role
  • Preferred experience in hydraulic design and development, from concept definition through testing / validation up to industrialization and production.
  • Preferred previous companies: Bosch Rexroth - Danfoss - Bucher - Interpump Group – CNH – Ducati – Ferrari, Lamborghini

Hard Skills:

Essential:
  • Technical background in hydraulic products
  • Clear understanding of technical specifications, both mechanical and hydraulic
  • Knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing.
  • MS office user.
  • Knowledge of Project Management methods
  • Knowledge of automotive product development processes
  • Knowledge of the 8d problem solving process.
  • Good spoken and written English.

Considered as a plus:

  • Knowledge of Five whys root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of the Six Sigma and Red X problem solving process.
  • Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
  • Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
  • Knowledge of techniques and design methodologies such as DFMEA and DVP&R
  • Statistical analysis
