Job Summary
The Chart Procurement Analyst Associate coordinates the retrieval of medical records and program outreach for initiatives related to risk adjustment and provider programs. The incumbent is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing medical record and provider data to create reporting and streamline the collection and internal sharing of patient records. This position supports ACA risk adjustment by performing member and provider outreach related to prospective programs and member initiatives, and function as a liaison between healthcare organizations, vendors, internal departments and the ACA risk adjustment team. This position works closely with provider network, collaborative health integration, primary care, and quality departments to ensure program efficiencies and streamline provider communication, collaboration, and education as applicable.
Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, or Healthcare Management related field. In lieu of degree, five years’ health related non-clerical experience with an insurance, managed care or healthcare organization will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with medical record review and retrieval desired.
Knowledge of the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems or electronic data sources.

Responsibilities
Assists providers with the process of sending medical records., Collaborates with internal departments, medical offices, and copy service vendors., Maintains tools to assist with retrieval efforts; and researches solutions for retrieval road blocks., Performs other duties as assigned., Retrieves, analyzes, coordinates, monitors and conducts reporting of medical records to ensure success of chart retrieval aspects.
