Job description
Arizona Pest Control opened its doors in 1947 at the same location in Tucson Arizona that it’s at today. Since then, much has change with the pest management industry however service delivery and client satisfaction have and will always remain a top priority. Owner Bruce Tennenbaum began working there in 1970’s as a service technician and would eventually work his way through the ranks to owning the company. Today as the longtime owner, Bruce has really made Arizona Pest Control a family business that is one of the premiere pest control companies in southern Arizona and respected by his peers around the country.
Positive mindset is key. Our team services both commercial and residential accounts. Workdays are Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays. Technicians must have excellent communication skills, time management, and the ability to maintain clear, concise, and accurate records. Team-oriented attitude is a must. All technicians must become State Certified in pest control and/or termites by the Arizona Office of Pest Management within 90 days of employment. All technicians are required to attend industry seminars throughout the year to keep updated on current trends and product usage. All team members are subject to a drug test, and they must not have a criminal record (felony or DUI convictions). All technicians must have an acceptable driving record over at least the past 5 years. All technicians are responsible for maintaining their vehicles upkeep and appear in proper company uniforms during all work hours. Business casual work environment.
No pest industry experience needed and encouraged to apply.
After first year of training there is an earning potential of up to $50,000 a year for Technicians.
