The Ashleigh at Lansdowne is seeking CNA's to join the Team in Ashburn, VA!
The CNA provides direct care to the residents after required training and under the direction of nurses. Encourages residents to function at their highest level of independence.
- Responds to resident call bells and pendants.
- Makes rounds to check on residents as assigned during shift.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living as assigned. Activities of daily living include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in bathing, dressing, and grooming (includes nail care, combing hair, brushing teeth, shaving, etc.)
- Toileting (includes incontinent care, Transfer Assisting to and from the dining room Assisting to and from activities
- Obtains vital signs as needed and follows up with the charge nurse.
- Administers CPR and first aid as needed.
- Assists activity staff in conducting activity programs for residents.
