Job description
Join our team of corrections professionals with the ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation at James River Correctional Center (JRCC) in Jamestown ND. JRCC is the state prison in Jamestown ND that houses medium to maximum security risk residents.
This is a temporary part-time position working less than 20 hours per week.
Summary of Work
Administer and monitor residents medications. Notify nurse on duty for concerns. The position work schedule is less than a 20 hour work week.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED and Certified Medication Assistant Certification. Requires interpersonal skills and communication skills necessary to perform job duties and must have the ability to work with an inmate population on a daily basis. Individual must be flexible and innovative in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Must successfully complete standard background and criminal record check and drug screening.
