St. John's Episcopal Health Services has an exciting opportunity for a full time NHA Certified Office Medical Assistant!

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency

• Medical Assistant certification via National Healthcare Association required (https://www.nhanow.com)
• Experience in the field of OB/Gyn preferred

As a front-line staff member, the Medical Office Assistant will perform a variety of clerical, registration, scheduling and reception tasks while promoting a pleasant environment for patients by facilitating flow and assisting patients wherever possible. Carry out direct patient care and non-direct services that support the Department. Duties include performing EKGs, urine pregnancy testing, blood pressures, temperature taking, etc.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
