Position Summary
The position of the Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice (CIPECP) Team UpTM Specialist will support the advancement of evidence-based interprofessional initiatives across academic, clinical and community settings. Under the supervision of and in conjunction with the CIPECP Director, this position will be responsible for administrative functions, planning, design, development, implementation, evaluation and coordination of the institution’s longitudinal interprofessional education programs and curriculum. The person in this role will build upon and establish new relationships with students, faculty, and staff in all 6 Schools to help support the education of students and meet academic program accreditation standards related to IPE.
The Team UpTM Specialist provides administrative support to the CIPECP Director and Faculty Council as related to the role described in the position summary. The CIPECP Specialist and Director collaborate through daily roles and responsibilities in interprofessional education training to improve healthcare delivery and health outcomes through interprofessional education and collaborative practice.
