Job Description


$24.00 per hour

Are you looking for an opportunity to make local deliveries and be home every night, working first shift Monday-Friday? SUMMARY:

Components of this position include working with warehouse staff along with following DOT and company safety policies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
  • Safely and efficiently operate CDL fleet vehicles, truck mounted forklifts, warehouse forklifts
  • Assists in day-to-day functions of warehouse operations while following safety practices
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs
  • Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material handling practices, and load securement policies
  • Communicate with supply center team and customers for accurate, on-time deliver

Qualifications


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift or move up to 100 lbs.
  • Standing frequently
  • Walking frequently
  • Talking frequently
  • Hearing frequently
  • Usage of hands and fingers
  • Reaching with hands and arms
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Commercial Driver’s License - Class B
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Delivery Experience
  • Basic Warehouse/Wholesale Operations
  • Safety policies and processes
