Summary:
LM Catering and Events is looking for an energetic, meticulous, and positive Catering Server to join our team. A Catering Server is responsible for ensuring the guests are having a pleasurable experience from the moment they enter the restaurant until they leave. You will be responsible for guest satisfaction, set up, passing appetizers, delivering several courses, table maintenance, wine service, sanitation, and break down. LM Catering and Events values their employees by providing a safe, constructive and positive work environment.

Essential Functions:
Polite and friendly demeanor with a guest forward approach to service
Resolve guest issues
Participate in pre-shift meetings
Carry trays of passed appetizers
Serve multiple courses during dinner service
Table side wine and cocktail service
Learn full menu including allergens in each menu item
Resetting table for dessert and coffee after dinner
Set up and break down of events
Sanitation & table maintenance
Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude

Job Requirements:
Reliable transportation to multiple locations
Black button down shirt, pants, vest, tie and bistro apron

Knowledge:
Formal dining service and place setting
Table side wine service
Spirit, wine and beer knowledge
Proper food handling

Physical Demand:
Must be 21+
Must be able to stand for 8+ hours
Ability to lift up to 30 pound regularly and 50 pounds on occasion
Ability to walk, stand, kneel, reach, climb, balance, stoop, push, pull, lift, grasp, bend, twist, squat, and do repetitive motions regularly throughout shift
Ability to carry heavy trays
Ability to work in hot and cool conditions
Ability to work in a fast paces environment
Ability to stay calm under pressure
Well groomed, professional appearance

Required Education and experience:
1+ years Serving experience, preferably in Catering
Food Handlers certification within 30 days of employment
BASSET certification within 30 days of employment
Allergen certification preferred
High School diploma/GED preferred
