Northeast Shared Services is looking for a Category Management Coordinator to join our dynamic Category Management team. The Coordinator operates as the center for their designated merchandising area, working to directly support the director and category managers, and to collaborate with professionals in various adjacent functional areas. This mission critical role challenges the Coordinator to serve as the administrative go-to person for their team and colleagues and is a proven track for advancement in the merchandising area. Many of our teammates in management positions began their career in this role. This role is integral to the success of our merchandising department and in supporting our stores. Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assists with research and resolution as directed by Management Staff.
- Assists stores to resolve issues, item price/cost accuracy, DSD service opportunities.
- Input information into the purchasing system, IMPS, and Promotional planning, including inventory purchase orders, price changes, system updates, new items, and promotional and base costing.
- Assist stores with the local markdown process by analyzing and responding to markdown requests
- Prepare and file all trade partner related documentation.
- Works both independently and collaborates with other functional areas, for reports and projects
- Compare invoices to purchase orders to ensure pricing and item accuracy.
- Involved in weekly ad process. Submitting product information and reviewing featured ad items for accuracy.
- Perform required record keeping and filing for category management functions.
- Coordinate high level communication and deadlines with area director and category managers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Interacting with trade partners, collecting/organizing data and reporting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Satisfactory performance reviews
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes initiative to anticipate needs and plan accordingly for reoccurring activities
- Very proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office applications
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent (Two or four-year college degree preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.25 - $24.37 per hour
