TIME FRAME: JAZZ FESTIVAL EVENT DAYS

April 27-30th, May 4-7th 2023

POSITION SUMMARY: The Cashless Zone Monitor is responsible for monitoring the Cashless aspects of the Vendor & Concessions booths within a designated zone.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Communicate with each vendor in a designated zone.
• Ensure daily opening of Food, Craft, Concessions and Beverage Booths run smoothly.
• Ensure all POS system hardware and internet connections are working properly throughout Festival days
• Communicate all cashless troubleshooting events to the Cashless Coordinator for prioritization in the queue.
• Log all troubleshooting events in Error/Incident Form
• Report any cash transactions or unauthorized POS systems to the Cashless Coordinator.
• Perform any other work-related duties assigned to them by Concessions Director
• Complete any evaluation or feedback forms requested of them.
• On the last day of the Festival, check in POS units not needed by vendors.
• Perform all other work-related duties, as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Using the Absentee Request Form, it is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the HR Office.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues.
• Must attend and complete any required training.
• Any document, computer program, design or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival belongs to the Jazz Festival and must be given to the Festival through your supervisor or department head at the end of each production year, or upon request.
• Must complete all required Feedback Forms and Final reports

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Production experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and high stress workplace.
• Computer literate in Excel, Access, and Word.
• Basic accounting procedures.
• Some heavy lifting.
