About us

Fryborg is a locally owned small business founded in New Haven in 2012. We have a new location in Trumbull and we're looking for someone to join our amazing staff. We are supportive, inclusive, and fun, and our goal is to make amazing nostalgic comfort food that people love. We believe in having a positive, upbeat work place and there is opportunity for growth within our company as we expand.

We are looking for someone (full-time or part-time) who we can train to give our customers a great experience while they're ordering the best french fries in the USA, plus amazing sandwiches and comfort food too.

This job is ideal for someone who has minimal experience in a restaurant environment but would like work for a company that believes in work-life balance and has a great atmosphere.

Main responsibilities will include:

• showing up for work and being reliable
• being knowledgable about our menu
• taking food orders and answering customer questions
• properly handling cash
• making milkshakes

Other Important Qualities to Have:

• energetic, upbeat, friendly, and outgoing
• fast learner
• you care about food even if you haven't worked in a restaurant before

If you don't have restaurant experience and/or have never worked as a cashier before that's okay! We would rather hire an inexperienced person with positive energy who is reliable than someone with experience who is grumpy and indifferent.

For the right person, this could be a really fun job working with really great people. There are also opportunities to work on our food truck and make excellent tips for the person who displays the right attitude and skill level.

Starting pay is $15 hourly plus tips.
