The Cashier is responsible for engaging our customers and completing the sales process at the register. The Cashier will greet customers that enter the dealership and answer general questions.
We are seeking a team member with very strong customer service skills and who is comfortable approaching people and assisting them. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about gaining product knowledge, educating and maintaining relationships with our riders, and helping our team reach its goals. Must be willing to work weekends and evenings as late as 7 PM.
Cashier Responsibilities and Duties
- Obtain and communicate product knowledge to our customers
- Maintain sales floor, stock room, and cash wrap areas
- Operate a Windows-based computer and POS system at the register
- Count inventory
- Follow up with customer phone calls and concerns
- Assist General Merchandise Manager with the set-up and execution of sales and events
- Answer phones and direct calls as needed/take messages
- Reconcile cash drawer at end of business day
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous retail experience
- Self-motivation and drive to excel
- Ability to learn new software (POS system)
- Strong customer service/interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability
- Great Personality (team player)
- Enthusiasm for motorcycle culture
