NOTICE OF JOB VACANCY

Job Title: Case Aide

The work involves responsibility for providing administrative support services to assist higher level staff in performing other professional functions. The work is primarily administrative in nature, however, an incumbent of this class also performs research on cases, has contact with providers, clients, and members of the public, and may make eligibility determinations on a limited scale. The work is performed according to Federal, State and local social service regulations under the supervision of a higher level staff person. Does related work as required.

Work Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week with benefits

Salary: $17.1917-$21.7603/HR(CSEA Union)

Location: Cortland County Department of Social Services

Status: Competitive, Provisional,

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:

Possession of a valid New York State driver's license appropriate to the vehicles operated. Failure to maintain a NYS driver’s license including driving privileges throughout employment will result in disciplinary action or dismissal.

OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Classification – Category 2

Pre-employment screenings required.
