Pay: $18.00 per hour

We are looking for a Caregiver Coordinator to interview, screen, train, and hire caregivers to work in our clients homes. This role works hand in hand with our client coordinator to match the right skills set as well as personality so that the bond is tighter and the relationship between client and caregivers are longer lasting.

This job is very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions, work independently, be self motivated, and perform a variety of tasks to help the office run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Interview, screen, hire, and train Caregivers to work in different clients' homes
Help caregivers understand a client's care needs
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Create and prepare caregiver personnel folders
Hire caregivers and adjust hiring based on company needs

Skills

Experience as a caregiver with at least two years in the field
Customer service experience is a must as our clients & caregivers and their safety and well being is our highest priority
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) Knowledge of IADLS (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards Good time management skills Ability to self motivate / work independently Willingness to work in a team environment and accept feedback Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong values and work ethics Physical endurance to train caregivers how to lift, transfer, etc.
