A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CAREER COACH - TANF CASE MANAGER
As a Career Coach - TANF Case Manager at our human services nonprofit, you are the go-to person to understand the unique needs, strengths, interests, and experiences of our program participants, as well as help them identify their capabilities and employment goals. With your help, we develop a rock-solid plan that outlines their short- and long-term employment goals, also known as a Family Contract Amendment (FCA). You get to meet with participants monthly to track their progress and make sure they're staying on top of program requirements. And don't worry, if life gets in the way and they miss an appointment, you're the ninja who's quick to reschedule.
But wait, there's more! You also collaborate with external providers to make sure our participants have access to all the services and support they need to succeed. Using our FedcapCARES program, you are able to run reports and use data to plan out daily and weekly tasks. And you don't stop there, you follow up and provide support with tasks to make sure they're crushing their goals.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CAREER COACH - TANF CASE MANAGER
- Bachelor's degree OR higher education and equivalent experience
- Demonstrated track record for providing exceptional customer service
- Valid driver's license
Fluency in Arabic, Portuguese, Somali, French, or Lingala would be a plus! Additionally, we are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, ask questions, and provide clear, concise feedback. In this role, you need to be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively. Strong organizational skills are a must.
