Job description
Looking for an upbeat individual with good customer service skills to assist seniors in Clark, Cumberland, Shelby and Moultrie Counties. Ideal candidate would be centrally located between the counties served and the office in Shelbyville. A care coordinator assesses senior’s needs, determines eligibility for various programs, develops a plan of care and arranges for services. Strong organizational skills and customer service needed. Must have a bachelor’s degree, have passion for senior citizens and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while working independently. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (will be required to travel throughout the counties).
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree in social science, social work, or related field. One year of program experience, which is defined as assessment, provision, and/or authorization of formal services for the elderly, may replace one year of college education up to and including four years of experience replacing a baccalaureate degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
