The Ashleigh at Lansdowne is a premier Independent Living, and Assisted Living Community, is seeking a Care Impact Companion to join our team!
The Care Impact Companion provides companion care to the residents of the community in a 1:1 environment. Encourages residents to function at their highest level of independence. Assists resident with social engagement to include but not limited to: RUI University Classes, assisting resident in joining in scheduled Life Enrichment activities. assist resident on walks and/or wheeling outside, and 1:1 activities such as reading, puzzles and/or music.
- Provides social engagement in a 1:1 setting.
- Stay with resident throughout assigned shift to ensure needs are met in a timely manner.
- Alerts Clinical team to assist residents with activities of daily living per their care plan or as needed.
- Alerts Charge Nurse to any physical and/or mental changes during assigned shift.
- Assists in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
- Prepares and serves snacks or meals according to instruction.
Requirements:
- Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
