A week in the life of a Capture Manager:

• Work across the company to develop and implement win strategies to increase competitive advantages on bids and best position AMERICAN SYSTEMS.
• Translate requirements into robust win strategy, carefully tested and validated, and advance strategy to management and technical design with strong value proposition and differentiated bid elements based on compelling features and benefits.
• Assume accountability for advancing and maturing opportunities toward high win probability.
• Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements working closely with BD and Delivery leads.
• Conduct and participate in gate, pricing, teaming, and capture reviews.
• Assess probable competition and evaluate relative strengths and threats.
• Lead and negotiate teaming agreements and strategic alliances.
• Work with the Solutions team to develop competitive solutions that meet customer requirements and hit the Price to Win
• Advise and support other capture efforts by supporting color team reviews.

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $115k - $135k. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant business, technical, or professional field of study
• Eligible to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
• 8-10 years total experience in federal government procurement
• 3-5 years of capture management with federal government procurements
• Proficient and proven ability in capture management based on industry best practices.
• Proven winning track record in shaping opportunities, negotiating teaming, and developing strategy.
• Confidence and experience dealing with senior executives; ability to work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.
• Demonstrated performance as team player and leader.
