Requirements Specific to the Role:

• Plan for and properly source security for all school events during the week and on weekends. This includes coordination with Titan and local law enforcement for armed security as needed.
• Assist the Director of Operations with Incident Response planning and exercises.
• Communicate routinely with school leadership about security expectations, emerging security concerns and security best practices.
• Manage the shift schedule for both campuses to ensure daily coverage.
• Maintain incident records for all security incidents on school property.
• Ensure officers receive all required and necessary training.
• Communicate regularly with officers to ensure their professional security goals are met.
• Serve as the safety lead, to include coordinating all required fire and safety inspections.
• Collaborate with the Information Technology Leader to ensure camera and door access systems are functioning properly.

Annual Compensation: $52,000

Minimum Qualifications:

• Titan will provide all the training you need to be successful.
• We are the only local security company that provides 1-on-1 and group-based firearms training.
• Preferred 1-year Vocational experience in Security.
• Preferred 2 years Recreational/Vocational experience in firearms.
• Must be at least 21 years old to be armed
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed posts, 21 years of age for armed posts.
• Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, clients and the public, ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures, ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance, ability to write and investigate required reports; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures; ability to maintain any valid licenses that may be required.
• Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress related to working conditions.
• Must be able to use tools and equipment required for the position.
• Excellent moral character and clean background free from excessive misdemeanors, traffic offenses, or any felonies, as well as positive record with creditors and prior employers.
• Must possess a valid driver's license as you will be driving between campuses.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is performed inside and outside at various properties with exposure to inside and outside environmental conditions, inclement weather, unpredictable crisis situations and possible combative individuals. Rare but possible exposure to blood and/or bodily fluids may occur. This job requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time, stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, grasping, walking, running, carrying, and climbing. Requires infrequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 lbs.
