Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is currently seeking a customer service focused smiling face to join our team!
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual who has a passion for delivering a great experience in our Cafe and General Store and takes pride in a job well done. We will provide you with the training you need to be successful. Whether you are looking for a part-time job to do during your retirement or a something to do during the day while the kids are in school, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
Current Opportunity:
Monday through Friday - 10:30am - 4:15pm
This position will be responsible for Lunch service in our Cafe (10:30am to 1:30pm) and the daily operation of our General Store (2:00pm to 4:15pm).
What you will be doing:
- Helping to create and deliver a friendly and positive experience for residents, guests, and team members by welcoming customers in a friendly manner.
- Perform normal retail duties such as handling register transactions, stocking shelves, creating orders, cash handling and documenting customer feedback to improve selection and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Possess a welcoming demeanor
- Ability to be organized and multi-task
- Ability to handle cash, give correct change and reconcile a cash drawer
- Most importantly, this position requires excellent customer service skills, dependability and initiative
