About us
White Heron Maine is a community cafe located on busy Route 236 in Eliot, Maine. Two miles from the Kittery traffic circle and 5 miles from Portsmouth, NH.
We make our own baked goods and offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options including some vegan/vegetarian and gluten-free choices. At our core, we are also an organic certified tea & coffee company with our own tea blends and in house roasted coffee beans.
We are looking for a FT (40 hrs / wk) Cafe Manager to manage daily operations in tandem with the Cafe owners. Responsibilities include cashiering, customer service, barista drink making, sandwich/food order making, retail stocking and merchandising, some ordering of stock. You would manage staff scheduling/training and help manage overall cleanliness and efficiency of Cafe Operation.
Most work is during operating hours, and must be able to work weekends and some holidays as necessary. Current hours are Tues-Fri, 7am-2:30pm, Sat/Sun 8am-2pm.
$50K Annual Salary with Paid Incentives that can add up to another $4-6K per year.

Skills
- Requires work experience as a Cafe Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead Barista
- Professional experience with espresso machine and coffee making equipment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and delegate
