Our Infrastructure team in Houston has an immediate need for a full-time AutoCAD Technician. In this role you will be responsible for creating technical drawings used in the construction of projects



What you will do:
Prepare drawings as directed.
Ensure compliance of quality standards in CAD drawings.
Redesign drawings according to markups and specifications.
Read, evaluate, and interpret designs and drawings.
Document and update all drawings.
Support compliance procedures of drafting and engineering standards.

You are a proficient communicator employing both verbal and written forms to assure understanding and quality completion of tasks. You demonstrate flexibility by the ability to quickly shift between tasks as needed.



What you bring:

Bilingual in English and Spanish Preferred
High School diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
2-6 years’ experience as an AutoCAD Technician.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software.
Ability to read and translate technical drawings.
Basic understanding of design and civil engineering processes.
Attention to detail to create accurate and detailed drawings.
Essential to be able to work in a team as you’ll be coordinating with Engineers and AutoCAD technicians.
A flexible approach to decision making, to make changes to drawings at short notice
Mathematical skills to complete calculations and estimates.
Spatial and design skills to be able to visualize projects in 2D and 3D.
Office software including MS Office and Adobe Professional (or BlueBeam) required
