Role Specific Responsibilities
- Processes requisitions, confirms and acknowledges purchase orders.
- Monitors variances.
- Responsible for product returns.
- Researches products.
- Senior: Assigns purchase order number to requisitions.
- Senior: Validates pricing and payments.
- Senior: Place orders for prime vendors/EDI.
- Senior: Maintains product recall log.
- Senior: Coordinates recall and replacement of products.
- Senior: In absence of Purchasing Manager, receives and distributes invoices.
- Senior: Assists with contract/capital equipment manager with research of capital equipment pricing and product purchase.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Senior: Associate’s degree
Experience and Skills
- Technical Experience: 1 year
- Senior: 3 years
