As a Business Planning Leader, Lung Cancer (BPL) in Gaithersburg, MD you’ll play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume leadership role as "Chief of Staff" to the franchise head
  • Participate as a member of the Lung Cancer Leadership Team, with accountability for identifying team priorities across the franchise and within the marketing and sales leadership teams
  • Plan monthly insights meetings, partnering with the Insights, Medical, and Key Customer teams to aggregate critical insights
  • Serve as a liaison between the Lung Cancer Leadership Team and extended team to ensure brand team deliverables meet expectations
  • Serve on Oncology Sales Leadership Team with CBDs across oncology, and play key role in coordinating touchpoints with CBD team
  • Develop and maintain calendar of key leadership touchpoints throughout the year
  • Integrate field and marketing efforts across the Lung Cancer franchise

Communications and Engagement:

  • Develop and manage franchise communications, including weekly update emails, and engagement plan (e.g., monthly calls with group of PSSs, team building events)
  • Coordinate and field all Lung Cancer update calls (e.g., quarterly calls)

Field Operations:

  • Serve as lead for Incentive Compensation planning
  • Partner with Lung Cancer CBDs to develop and execute on targeting guidance and ensure ls and resources (e.g., triggers)
  • Lead the planning for all key field meetings

Strategic Planning and Goal-setting:

  • Lead development of annual goals and creation of dashboard to track progress against key objectives
  • Lead strategic and tactical brand planning processes, ensuring that all tools are well understood and effectively applied by brand team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years pharmaceutical experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions and lead without formal authority
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral), organizational, relationship building, and consulting skills
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical business (including development and operations)
