Business Development - Software Solutions with our myQ Dock Management.

iDock® Controls and myQ® Dock Management combine the industry's most technologically advanced loading dock controls with a comprehensive online dock management software that allows users to analyze their loading activity and efficiency.

Overview

Business Development - Software Solutions: This sharp, driven individual will pursue sales, connect, and onboard new customers to myQ Dock Management, including bundling relevant hardware, installing, as well as training end users in the technology. This is a position that requires flexibility and willingness to perform various job duties related to Sales and Customer Service of connectivity. As a member of our Marketing Team, this position will represent all of our Systems' brands.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and sell myQ Dock Management to end users.
• Install iDock Gateways and other connectivity hardware at customer facilities.
• Train end users on the functionality of myQ Dock Management.
• Maintain and convert trial customers into paying customers.
• Assist dealers in effectively selling and connecting new customers to myQ Dock Management.
• Work with Regionals to present, demo, sell etc. connectivity to the customer.
• Communicate with Customer Service on connectivity orders.
• Communicate customer feedback to Marketing, Sales and R&D
• Communicate regional based activity with Regional Managers from each brand.
• Maintain customer account activity in detail in CRM (ACT).
• Bi-weekly status update reporting
• Travel, when necessary, up to 40% of the time, including overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing field, or comparable professional experience.
• 3-6 years sales/business development experience.
• Experience with B2B sales is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and general knowledge of IoT technology is preferred.
• Knowledge of material handling, overhead door, and loading dock equipment is a plus.
• Willing to travel, when necessary, up to 40% of the time, including overnight trips.
• Valid Driver's License with good record. Must maintain drivers record in good standing.
