We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our rapidly growing team in the Americas as a Business Analyst supporting the Sourcing tam. The primary purpose of this role is to provide valuable support to our Sales and Sourcing teams through conducting client and supplier audits, offering strategic insights and recommendations, and assisting in the preparation of rate analysis reports. The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies, track performance, and contribute to marketing campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of business goals, proficiency in data analysis, and a keen eye for process improvement to drive sales success and ensure pricing parity and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization.
• Conducting weekly pricing audits for key properties to ensure price parity and competitiveness.
• Analysing large datasets to derive actionable insights and providing practical recommendations.
• Assisting in the preparation of rate analysis and reports to support product managers.
• Interpreting data, conducting statistical analysis, and providing ongoing reports to support product and sales teams.
• Deeply understanding the commercial strategy and business goals to align the solution with the business process.
• Creating and maintaining a destination calendar to support sales and marketing efforts.
• Collaborating with sales, sourcing, marketing, and pricing teams to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Measuring and reporting on the success of pricing campaigns to evaluate their effectiveness.
• Identifying and defining opportunities for process improvement to enhance profitability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Monitoring and tracking rate parity issues and ensuring timely resolution through weekly tracking reports.

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge:

• Add Preferred 1-2 years of experience in business analysis with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business or Economics.
• Fluent spoken and written English..

Desirable Qualifications & Knowledge:

• Knowledge of relevant BI tools (Tableau, Power BI etc) & additional programming languages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• A2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Travel Industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex travel data and identify trends and insights.
• Adaptability: The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
• Detail-oriented and ability to work independently: The Sales, Sourcing & Planning Analyst will be responsible for managing their own workload and should be able to work independently and with attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skills: The ability to work effectively with other teams and departments.
• Passion for the travel industry and staying up to date with industry trends and developments.
• Proficiency in English, Spanish and/or Portuguese languages are helpful.
