Business Analyst – Reading, PA

We have an immediate opening for a Business Analyst at our Corporate office.

Hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.

The Business Analyst is responsible for developing programs for forecasting. They will also work within our proprietary systems to develop and maintain quote automation initiatives. Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Forecasting - Develop forecasting tool in Power BI drawing from the ERP system and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM platforms.
• Develop the revenue recognition ability to understand how the division realizes revenue against customer Schedules of Values (SOV).Utilize Syteline and CRM to maintain the forecast.
• Quote Tool - Support Data Analytics regarding part family pricing and obsolete parts.
• Develop Flight and FRP Angle pricing subroutine.
• Support design and development of third-party programing of Brentwood Systems platforms across various platforms
• Develop capability to automate Transferred parts from Syteline ERP to the quoting tool to eliminate lag in pricing deployments.
• Develop capability to drive intercompany price of cost plus 10% from list pricing program.
• Establish processes to add part drawings to the quoting tool.
• Quotes and Orders
• Develop capabilities to data mine CRM and the quoting tool to prioritize sales leads.
• Pull data from File Maker to prioritize media sales targets.
• Work to move File Maker quotes in File Maker to CRM.
• Develop tool to automate tracking of on time shipments.

Essential Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT OR related experience and/or training. Strong experience in Power BI and Advanced capabilities in Excel. Knowledge in ERP systems with Syteline preferred. Experience in MS 365 CRM
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively prepare and present information to customers, engineers, contractors, and groups of managers.
• Ability to develop, prepare and use advanced spreadsheet functions. Ability to reason through logical calculations using spreadsheets. Calculate amounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, discounts etc and prepare appropriate data analysis.
• Understand customer needs, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
