We are looking to employ a knowledgeable and experienced Budtender/Receptionist to provide excellent customer service while assisting customers in selecting suitable cannabis products. The responsibilities of the Budtender include but are not limited to greeting and welcoming customers, informing the manager of customer complaints and operational issues, and sharing firsthand experiences of cannabis products to address customer concerns. We expect our budtenders to be as knowledgeable as possible about the products that they sell to our customers, which consists of staying on top of the different brands and products that we carry. As a high volume dispensary we require our budtenders to adhere to the rush of patients we might receive at a moments time along with keeping the high standard of customer service our patients deserve. Ultimately, an outstanding Budtender should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills by ensuring that customers are well-informed and satisfied with their purchases, along with staying knowledgeable of the latest development in cannabis state and local laws to maintain legal compliance and regulations. Budtender Responsibilities:
Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
Keeping updated of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through trade shows and/or research.
Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
Must be able to stand for 6+ hours. (We need a Budtender that's able to move around the dispensary and be on their feet most of the day. Will be moving around helping patients.)
If considered, must be flexible with schedule and willing to work opening/closings weekends and or holidays
Preferred Experience
Cannabis experience a plus
Retail experience & Customer Service experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
