We are looking for a Bindery lead with previous experience. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional who can thrive in an upbeat and fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with team members.

The individual should have working knowledge in the following:

· Review job specifications to determine downstream bindery operations, cutting and packing requirements

· Understand cut patterns and be able to program cutter in most efficient pattern.

· Adjust cutter during production run as required for, adherence to all quality and customer requirements

· Read thoroughly and understand job jackets

· Adjust/change cutting blade as needed

· Log into and out of data collections (PACE)

· May supervise an assistant operator jogging sheets for the cutter.

· Technical expertise navigating Polar Cutter control panel and parts

· Experience with the process of loading, cutting, and unloading sheets off the cutter machinery

· Ability to read and understand Job Jackets along with written and verbal instructions

· Perform basic mathematical calculations

· Understanding basic repair and maintenance of cutter machinery

· Understanding basic safety protocols when handling cutter machinery

· Effective time management skills

· Effective teaming skills

· Ability to direct fellow crew members in the overall operation involved in the job

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Decatur, GA 30035: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
