We are an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic providing speech, occupational, physical, and developmental therapy to pediatric population.

Job Responsibilities:

Core 30hrs/week

• Use Raintree system, Availity, and IL early intervention clearing house for billing and collections.
• Claims Management (sending/receiving) to obtain timely reimbursements from third party insurance payors, IL EI program, and patient families.
• Coordinate benefits verification, pre-certifications, Rx updating, claims follow-ups, and appeals.
• Clearly communicate with parents: about their benefits, financial responsibilities, facilitate Early Intervention to in-clinic conversion.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding or relevant field.
• 2+ years of working with EHR Software (Raintree, EPIC, Kareo, SimplePractice, TheraNest, EZClaim, TherapyNotes, PhysiMed)
• Familiarity with Medical Insurance Terminology
• Knowledge of the IL Early Intervention program is a plus
• Skills: Medical Claims, Customer Service, Early Intervention, Electronic Medical Records, Office Administration, Interpersonal Communication, High Level of Accuracy, Microsoft Office.

Compensation/Benefits:

• Will be considered for Paid Holidays and Accrued Vacation after 90-days based on performance
• 401(k) with match after 1-year
