Job description

Responsibilities include

• Removing debris from the beach (rock, sea grass, litter) daily
• Daily Grooming of the beach and surrounding areas
• Keeping the pool and the area surrounding it clean and orderly
• Coordinating additional landscaping support as a response to increased debris
• Maintaining all beach equipment (chairs, snorkels, kayaks etc.)
• Developing and promoting a beach activity focused event calendar
• Creating content surrounding beach events
• Interacting with guests in a polite and friendly manner
• Monitoring ocean conditions to ensure the safety of guests
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to lift/carry 50lbs on a repeated basis
• Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to frequently lift 50 pounds of weight throughout the assigned workday.
