The Olympic Club, a private member athletic and country club in San Francisco, seeks a part-time Basketball Scorekeeper. At The Olympic Club, members enjoy 19 sports, world-renowned golf courses, exceptional social and athletic programs as well as 18 hotel rooms and 5 Food & Beverage outlets.

The Olympic Club has two campuses, the City Clubhouse in downtown San Francisco and the Lakeside campus on the border of Daly City and San Francisco. This role will spend time at the downtown San Francisco City Clubhouse location each week in our basketball courts.

Position Summary:

The Basketball Scorekeeper position is responsible for keeping clear and organized statistical information in each The Olympic Club’s in-house junior and adult basketball leagues.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

• Keep the gym area clean and safe by checking the physical area regularly.
• Input statistics on the computer during basketball games.
• Regular attendance required based on business expectations and needs.
• Adheres to all federal, state, local and San Francisco laws regarding health, safety and employment

Qualifications Required:

Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:

• High School Degree
• Basic computer knowledge

Minimum Experience required:

• Must have knowledge of sport of basketball and have a strong ability to work with people.

Licenses or Certificates Required:

• Knowledge and certification in First Aid and CPR.

Skills Required:

• Must possess clear, concise written and oral communication skills
• Must possess personable disposition and ability to work with full membership compliment.

Physical Demands of work environment:

• Lifting at least 10 pounds
• Pushing/pulling 10 pounds of weight
• Desk time sitting and typing on a computer
• Walking gym floor daily'
