The Barbershop: A Hair Salon for Men is locally owned and operated. We have 3 locations. St Pete, Largo, and Bradenton. We want our clients to enjoy a relaxing haircut experience from start to finish. We offer water, coffee, and peanuts to all of our clients while they wait. Our individual booths provide a relaxed and semi-private environment equip with their own tv. We provide hair, beard, gray blending, waxing, and straight razor services. We also provide top of the line men’s grooming/beard products (Reuzel, Suavecito, Paul Mitchell, American Crew, and Gibbs)

Our Full Service Haircut (six-point standard service) includes a precision haircut, relaxing shampoo, cooling conditioner, a soothing hot towel facial, eyebrows and mustache trim and we finish up with an old-fashioned shoulder massage.

Pay Rate:

Make the greater of commission or your base pay + 10% retail commission + daily tips.

• Stylists/Barbers: 50% commission or $15/hr + daily tips

• Shift Lead: 55% commission or $15.50/hr + daily tips

• Assist. Manager: 60% commission or $16/hr + daily tips

• Manager: 70% commission or $17/hr + daily tips

Qualifications:

• Current FL Cosmetology or Barber License
• Weekend availability
• Work together as a team to create an exceptional client experience consistently every time
• Provide excellent customer service and a thorough consultation on hair and product needs
• Work in a multi-tasking environment
• Educate clients according to their hair styling and product needs
• Create lasting client relationships and grow your client base
• Operate POS and have general computer knowledge
• Maintain cleanliness of shop under OSHA and state board regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
