Bank Teller Job Summary

As a member of the front line staff, the Bank Teller will be expected to have adequate banking knowledge to answer basic questions for new and existing customers, direct customers to appropriate personnel when necessary, and accurately complete banking transactions and balancing procedures.

Bank Teller Accountabilities

· Process customer account transactions

· Verifying account balances, giving out account information to customer, and printing copies of items and/or statements from customer accounts

· Selling of Cashier’s Checks and other bank products

· Completing cash advance transactions

· Responsible for complying with established balancing standards and cash drawer levels

· Provide account information to customers via phone, by mail or in person

· Various other duties as determined.

· Provides quality customer service when answering inquiries and resolving customer concerns in person, via phone, or via e-mail.

· Maintain complete confidentiality with regard to sensitive information and bank relationships

· Comply with the CenBank Bank Secrecy Policy and all Bank Secrecy Regulations

Bank Teller Expectations

· Performs job accountabilities with a high level of accuracy and timeliness

· Develops and maintains knowledge of compliance and internal control requirements necessary to complete the job

· Performs duties in compliance with policy, procedure and process

· Provides open communication to supervisor concerning training needs, equipment problems, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
