Catawba Valley Staffing in Valdese is seeking motivated individuals for a Packer at a local bakery opportunity in Connelly Springs, NC.

Qualification

Required to stand for long periods with repetitive motions

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

May also engage in frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling

Availability to work overtime, as needed

Responsibilities

• As part of the Packing team, you will assist in packing, labeling, and preparing goods following food safety standards as outlined by state agencies and our client.

Shift: 6 am to 3:30 pm

• Perform production duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, and labeling operations
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Perform related duties as required by the supervisor
