The part time, afternoon bakery position is a key role to the ongoing success of our stores. They provide customers with fresh, quality products ensuring the return of customers time and time again.

Summary of the position:

• Prepares items for early morning baking;
• Packages, prices, and stocks products within the department;
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of products, ingredients, and services provided in the department;
• Assists customers with department questions and needs;
• Takes special orders and cake orders for day crew;
• Ensures State and County safety and sanitation standards are met with all equipment, surfaces, and floors with the department;
• Cleans the departments and coffee station before closing the department

What we look for in you:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• 3-6:30 pm shifts during the weekdays and at least one weekend day availability
• 1 year of friendly and welcoming customer service
• Grocery and/or retail experience preferred
• Exceptional communication skills
• Highly motivated individual
• Team player with the ability to work independently at times
• Ability to multitask
• Focused and efficient
• The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
