Job description

A Better Windshield is looking to hire an experienced and reliable auto glass technician with a strong work ethic to provide mobile auto glass repair and replacement services in Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Franktown, Larkspur, Lone Tree, Monument, Palmer Lake, and Parker. A service van is provided and technicians take the vehicle home. Work is M-F and business is closed on weekends.

Requirements:

• Certified by the Auto Glass Safety Council (AGSC) as a Replacement Technician is preferred.
• At least two (2) years of experience working as an Auto Glass Technician.
• Clean driving record.
• Sound knowledge of automotive glass repair and installation techniques.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Using primer to prime all damaged areas of windshields and car windows.
• Traveling to various locations to assess and repair or replace customers' auto glass.
• Removing moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, and clips before glass installation and repairs and replacing them thereafter.
• Injecting resin into small chips or cracks.
• Identifying issues that may affect glass installation, such as rust or vehicle damage.
• Removing all dirt and debris from windshields and windows before beginning repair or weatherproofing treatments.
• Using clips, moldings, and adhesives to affix custom-cut glass to customers’ vehicles.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $48,880.00 - $58,240.00 per year
