Position: Automotive Service Manager

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Salary Range: $120,000 - $250,000 (Commission and Bonuses)

Job Summary:

Overseeing the Service Department and being responsible for controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relations, setting, and obtaining sales and profit objectives and maintaining service records. The Service Manager must also satisfy service concerns of all customers, ensuring that service is performed at the highest level, maintaining the highest CSI rating possible while operating the department profitably.

Duties:

• Accomplishes service human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training (Service Technicians and Service Advisors), assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Achieves service operational objectives by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Meets department financial objectives.
• Implements sales programs by identifying prospects; developing field sales action plans; tracking and monitoring results.
