Ourisman CDJR of Edgewood has an opening for Assistant Service Manager/Service Advisor. Up to $5,000 sign on bonus for experienced candidate

We are looking for individuals with experience and proven track records of excellent Customer Service (CSI). Reynolds systems experience is preferred but not required. This is an opportunity to join one of the area's top automotive companies. Two or more years experience is preferred but not a requirement. Equivalent technician experience qualifies you as well. Please bring documentation of your CSI, and sales data to the interview.

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain information
• Serve as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer
• Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; entering RO into service database system.
• Provide the client with an accurate estimate of repair or maintenance cost, and/or a minimal diagnostic fee with explanation of associated cost, detailing problems and pertinent information, and secure client authorization of repair or service.
• Reynolds and Reynolds experience a plus

Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 6 Months Experience in Customer Service Position
• Fluent English--Bilingual a plus
• Automotive Knowledge Preferred But Not Required
• Quality Focus, Productivity, and Problem Solving
• Strong Teamwork and Communication Skills
• Out-going personality with experience at developing relationships
• Can work in a fast-pace environment, are organized, and can manage time efficiently
• Must have valid driver's license
