This position will report to an I&E Supervisor and support WaterBridge’s Delaware Operations. This individual must be able to install, maintain and repair instrumentation and electrical equipment as well as recommend, develop and support implementation of new processes, and must be knowledgeable of the latest technological advances in instrumentation and measurement devices.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Ideally 3 to 5+ years of experience / training on applicable control systems equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot break downs, control systems, diagnose faults, components, end devices and other electronic equipment and perform repairs and maintenance
  • Understand complexity and details of 4-20ma signals, Modbus, and other communication mediums
  • Experience in the use of computers and a basic knowledge of Word and Excel required
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and associated safety requirements
  • Must demonstrate advanced organizational skills.
  • Ability to create BOM/Material acquisition and assist in quoting process
  • Able to assist in the procurement process
  • Finely tuned time-management skills
  • Able to apply common-sense understanding to daily tasks/issues
  • Forthright communication with field leadership; job progress, issues & resolutions, required manpower & equipment, etc.
  • A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record required.
  • Must be able to work independently and be self- motivated.
  • Must be able to relate to other people and maintain good relationships with coworkers and peers.
  • Must be able to respond appropriately to constructive criticism.
Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electronic flow meters, temperature, and pressure transmitters.
  • Install, repair, and maintain several platforms of programmable logic controllers and RTU’s. With the ability to apply simple PLC programing field changes.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems and equipment such as motors, pumps, switches, pneumatic controls and end devices, and related input and output devices.
  • Install, repair, and maintain cellular modems, serial radios, gateways, ethernet radios and routers. With the ability to use various tools and software to perform analysis and determine why equipment is not communicating properly
  • Coordinate/perform maintenance duties required to maintain operations and regulatory compliance
  • Read and understand maintenance/operations manuals for equipment specifications parts and procedures to make proper and timely repairs
  • Maintain effective communications, provide ideas, raise concerns, and work with other functions including facility operations and supervision, engineering, supply chain, other I&E employees, clerical staff, and contractors
  • Assist the team in the daily economic optimization of operations
  • Coordinate operations with other Delaware Basin personnel as required

  • Ensure job duties are carried out in a safe manner, with due regard for the environment and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations
  • Ensure that accurate timely data is entered and recorded within computer based preventative and predictive maintenance programs, drawings, procedures and schematics
  • Stay abreast of changing technology through training opportunities, contact with suppliers/ representatives of equipment manufacturers and networking with others in the field
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Additional duties as instructed by supervisor
