QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate plus five years experience in weatherization techniques.

Operates in all of the Lower Shore.

REQUIRED SKILLS

1. Ability to handle detailed work.

2. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

3. Ability to coordinate and associate with other housing and social service related agencies.

4. Ability to work with customers of varying backgrounds, incomes and educational levels.

DUTIES

1. Perform mechanical audit of each home to identify problems in building shell using testing equipment.

2. Assess health & safety issues prior to service delivery.

3. Document any and all observations & complete WAP audit form on-site.

4. Attend and complete all required training.

5. Determine best method for treating problems identified at each site utilizing (NEAT) when possible.

6. Originate all requests for purchase orders & complete all necessary paperwork for review

7. Supervise field staff, monitor and evaluate work performed.

8. Conduct pre and post tests on customers’ central heating systems to determine combustion efficiency.

9. Procure services of licensed furnace contractor to clean and tune or modify system and ensure work complies with standards.

10. Ensure professional installation of all weatherization measures and materials.

11. Perform other reasonably related duties as outlined by supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Building Analyst Certification (BPI) (Preferred)
• Quality Control Inspector Certification (QCI) (Preferred)
