• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Extensive knowledge of Audio/Visual equipment, including sound and data projectors, computers, internet, and lighting
• Ensure that details are followed from the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ensure all AV areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Ensure at the end of a function or workday, banquet rooms are cleared, securely locked, and all equipment is stored in the designated area
• Take ownership of all guest compliments or complaints, and relay all to management
• Submit maintenance requests to the AV Manager/Dir. of Banquets
• Meet with the group leader about last-minute changes and discuss various set-up arrangements
• Assist staff with room set-ups, and clean up when needed
• Maintain hotel standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service
• Physical requirements include; minimum of 50 lb lifting/pulling using proper techniques, pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity. Hearing, typing, and writing.
