Position Summary:
Provide subject matter expertise regarding audio/visual installations.
Participate in A/V requirement meetings with customers.
Participate in Project kickoff meetings with other stakeholders.
Work with other project managers to confirm site readiness for AV installation.
Serve as primary point of contact for projects with AV requirements.
General vendor oversight and management.
Work with AV design engineer for solutions and new technology.
Manage service level expectation and project sign offs.
Provide Consultation and needs analysis with Program Managers and other corporate business unit representatives.
Approximately 25% national travel required for site walks and project sign offs.
Coordinate and manage install schedule with multiple Project Managers, Subcontractors and Vendors.
Essential Functions:
Support the account on projects ranging from site closures to large complex projects
Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all IFM/PDS technology as required for assigned projects to include Project app and Spend app.
Develop scope and schedule for assigned AV projects
Proactively manage project-related issues on account
Interact and negotiate with contractors and other vendors
Coordinate and track all Vendor RFP’s. Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation
Coordinate activities of sub-contractors and relocation of technical functions
Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner
Ensure accurate management of all accounts receivables to maintain a level not to exceed planned working capital charge as set by account finance team
Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with construction of meeting and collaboration spaces, from executive board rooms to small huddle spaces.
Ability to read architectural drawings, furniture concepts and space planning concepts is required
Understanding of technical requirements for AV buildouts and site closures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in AV construction, installation, and design
Detail oriented and highly organized with strong analytical skills
Organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently
Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
5 years of project related installation experience working with AV equipment related to corporate meeting spaces and digital signage.
Experience integrating AV systems.
Knowledge of high-definition systems, high resolution graphics display systems, Matrix switching, Digital Signage, Audio DSP’s, Skype for business Huddle spaces and high-definition Video Teleconference (VTC) systems.
