Join a private owned clinic that leads with the heart. No rushed appointments or micro-managing. Davison Veterinary Integrated Care has been serving pets in Davidson for decades and is excited to add a doctor to the team. Led by Dr Sovey and her wonderful team, they are committed to fostering an environment devoted to the human-animal experience. The clinic takes an integrated care and fear-free approach. Appointments are not rushed and often scheduled at 30 min to ensure quality time w/ each patient.

The Team:

Per Dr Sovey, "The staff are devoted to patient care and providing as good an experience for patients as possible and we experience very little turnover with tenures ranging from 3 to 9 years. We strive to support each other and not have the typical "toxic" work environment. Family is important and everyone makes changes in the schedule to accommodate emergencies with a staff member's family as they know they will receive the same should they need it. We take a mental health long-weekend each month and are closed the first Friday of each month so staff have time away and ability to spend with family. I have striven to create a work schedule that limits stress. We like to laugh and love our 4 clinic cats!"

The Position:

The clinic would like to find a like-minded, caring doctor to join the team part or full time. There is a surgical suite and setup to add mixed animal care at the clinic if either appeal to your skillset and interests. If you enjoy providing acupuncture or supporting holistic medicine that is already supported and welcomed in the clinic.

If mentorship is important, Dr Sovey would welcome a doctor willing to learn.

Compensation and Benefits:
